TDS bezel - hyfly72 - 12-27-2025
The bezel of the tds in panel 3d does not match the bezel in popup mode. In panel 3d i have the old reality xp bezel and in popup i have the TDS MODEL ? I must have mist something in the install ?

Hello,
The 3d model bezel is created by the respective aircraft add-on developer, not by TDS. We have no control over this. We strongly suggest that you contact the respective aircraft add-on developer and request a proper TDS GTNXi integration. At TDS we have a bezel 3d model/texture for the 750/650 which we provide to aircraft developers who want to integrate the TDS GTNXi into their products, to ease the integration process.
In addition, it helps mentioning the aircraft add-on in your message.

Thanks for the fast reply. I think it would be a nice and easy addition to add to the download a proper bezel that could be placed in the livery folder like any other jpg image since the proper location in the 3d cockpit is already specified either by the developer or by gnx. You also state that in VR the inoperative popup is an xplane problem. How come we can get a avitab popup or any other popup working. I am on the latest beta xp12 version. I do apreciate the TDS and have bought it since it was released. I teach IFR procedures on the Bell 407 xi, 429 and 412epx. VR ,TDS and Xplane is the perfect tool.

Thank you for your answer, unfortunately we can not place a 3d model inside an aircraft, due to the current X-Plane architecture, things are not as easy. Of course, if this will change in the future, we will follow suite.
In regards to VR mode, we are respecting the current X-Plane 12.1+ standards of moving away from the Windows API (Avitab) and utilizing custom avionics devices. Because of this the 2d pop-up does not work in VR mode; this is not a TDS limitation, but rather an X-Plane 12 engine limitation, at this time, we have filed a feature request
To bridge the gap, we offer a special compiled version to those who want the previous Window API (2d pop-up VR) functionality.

Wow how can i access this functionality and will it be possible to revert to new API when XP will have sorted out their compatibility. ? Thank you so much for your time and dedication.
