Unfortunately the fix has to come from the X-Plane side, not from TDS. This is a missing feature of custom avionics devices. At TDS we have filed a feature request, but this is out of our hands.
In the meantime, we have a special version utilizing the old Window API which works in VR as a 2d pop-up, yet all thee new features of the TDS GTNXI XPlane V1.0.1.0 (rotorcraft support). You can obtain it by sending us an email:
