Hello.
I'm having trouble with ILS using TDS GTNXi PRO for MSFS 2024.
I'll try to provide as much information as possible so we can find a solution together.
MSFS 2024 v.1.7.16.0
TDS Aviation Trainer version 3.10.3.0
GTNXi PC Trainer version 20.42.2.0
Executable version 1.3.1.3
Gauge 3.0.4
Pro Upgrade: included
Aircraft: Black Square A36 Bonanza PRO 0.1.1a (last version)
Flight charts: Navigraph full, AIRAC Cycle 2603 rev.3 with TDS SIM SOFTWARE updated via Navigraph Hub
I'm a doctor, and also a professional pilot, and I have a lot of experience with IFR flights.
I often use MSFS and TDS GTNXi PRO for training.
The TDS GTNXi PRO performs the GPS flight plan very well, except when it comes time to execute ILS procedure for the selected RNW, loaded and activated.
The TDS recognizes the RNW ILS frequency in the active NAV window, even displaying its correct identification, but in the moment the VLOC is activated, the IFR navigation is completely disabled (the red NAV flag appears on the artificial horizon).
Since the TDS takes over all IFR navigation and controls, there is no way to activate an alternative NAV 2 to perform the landing, which needs to be aborted.
For your information, the TDS performs RNAV landing procedures without any problem, this difficulty its restricted to the ILS.
As a test, I installed the PMS50 GTN750 on this same aircraft, and this system performed the same ILS procedures flawlessly.
I verified this problem at many airports in Brazil (SBGR, SBSP, SBKP, SBGF, SBGL etc.)
Any solution?
Thanks
Dr Valter Gurfinkel, Brazil
