TDS GTNXi - MSFS2024 H160 Issue

Hello,  I am running the H160 helicopter on MSFS and trying to use the TDS GTNXI Navigation on both pilot and co pilot instruments.  When I install the software using the manager, the expected three folders are installed into the ‘Community’ folder not the Community2024 one.  Both folders are created by MSFS.  When I go into the aircraft, both nav units work.  When I close MSFS then go back into the game the nav units are black.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times now.  Sometimes the system for works, following a reinstall, but only for one cycle.  Often it does not.  I have checked my Norton Anti Virus and the manager and sim exe files are whitelisted.  I can run TDS before I launch MSFS and all looks well.  When the sim launches TDS closes (as I would expect).  If I remove the instrument folder from the community folder, launch TDS, all is well.  If I launch MSFS then the TDS screen then goes black. Not really sure what to now try.  Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

We do not understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to run the TDS GTNXi Pro in standalone mode? Please provide us with more detailed, clear explanations.

To try to resolve the issue, I have tried the following:
  1. I have checked that the three folder are installed into the community folder.  However I see MSFS created two community folders ‘Community’ and ‘Community2024’.  Those TDS folder are created in the ‘Community Folder’ but I think that’s ok.
  2. I have removed all add-ins from the community folder, other than the H160  and TDS files.
  3. I have uninstalled then reinstalled TDS multiple times.  Following an install, sometimes TDS works, but only once. Because when I exit MSFS then restart, TDS displays a black screen.
  4. I have checked my Norton Anti Virus and the TDS manager and TDS sim exe files are whitelisted.
  5. I  tried to prove that the stand alone version of TDS works by running the programme before I launch MSFS.  TDS does launch as expected then once MSFS is launched the stand alone TDS closes (as expected).
  6. I have removed the TDS gauge folder from the community folder in order to run TDS outside MSFS.  I launch the TDS app and it displays the TDS software.  I launch MSFS the TDS screen goes black.  I did this to see whether the TDS software would run outside MSFS or not.
  7. I have also checked that the TDS folders are active in MSFS by checking my library in MSFS; folders are shown as installed.

Hello,

Thank you for the explanation. Let's try a Norton Antivirus exclusion for the PC Trainer executable, as this may sound like the cause of the back screen. Please provide us via email with the log file from My Documents:TDSGTNXiExeLog.txt and we will follow up with instructions.
