msfs 2024 gtn 2024 Black Castle Barron or bonanza
#1
First issue .

can someone help with this issue. i have the black castle baron and bonanza in msfs 2024 ,, i also have the tdsgtn 750 full up to date and it is in gauge mode, firstly i dont know how to get it as a stand lone on these particular planes , is it possible? i dont see a switch on the ipad or anywhere else or natively ?

Second issue and this one is  really odd !!

i have two computers each set up almost exactly the same and the graphics card in both is a 4080

Critical questions;

on one machine when i click right alt - mouse click the gtn , i get a + sign and upon clicking the gtn will pop out as a new ui and i can move it to another screen

on the other machine no matter what i do it will not pop out, the + sign appears but upon clicking it never pops out and it wont generate the new ui to provide a stand alone gtn , this is important because i find it hard to read in the gauge mode.

Note that on both machines picking any native guage will pop out with the  right alt -+ function so that works but not on the tdsgtn 750

can anyone provide some thoughts or input on this, ive chased this for a while , i cant figure it out, maybe someone here has a thought?  Huh

Hello Peter,

To get the TDS GTNXi Pro into standalone mode, you will lose the VC integrated gauge option (as the gauges will be black), this is a work in progress mode.
Instructions are found at the link below:
https://tdssim.com/forum/thread-15.html

"Version 1.0.2.5 released 01.05.2023"
"WIP Feature - Ability to display Standalone mode"

In regards to the pop-up, this is exclusively handled by the aircraft/MSFS, not by TDS. This seems to be an inherent aircraft bug where the TDS GTNXi screen is designed as a 3d object with the other legacy GTN 750 GPS, hence the conflict. A fix is described in the TDS GTNXi SDK and must be requested from the aircraft developer; alternatively you can try using the MSFS pop-out panel manager application.

Please enjoy the TDS GTNXi Pro!

my issue is that in msfs2024, the alt right hook to bring out the gtn work on one computer not on the other so it seems possible.
on the one that does not work the , right alt + sign ,appear an upon click it just does not bring up a pop out panel, other msfs panels do pop out as normal.
on the machine that works it is flawless and the tds gtn pops out., both machines msfs are the exact same setup and i like the gtn popped out so how do i do that ?
i checked the little ipad in the balcksquare bonanza and baron and there is a switch between the pms and tds gtn , if i switch to pms it will pop out and obviously it is black as i use the tds gtn. seems odd and its a little frustrating. i simply want to leave it in gauge mode and click the right alt + and have it pop out, that was my objective, any other thoughts and the msfs pop out panel did not work for me

Hello,

Yes, we understand this, but as explained above, this is not a TDS issue, but an aircraft issue and the fix lies with the aircraft developer and not TDS.
