TDS GTN Integration into the Cockpit
#11
Thanks AdminOwner2 for the hint. I turned off Reality XP's GTN via the PlugAdmin menu in X-Plane 12, and yes, the TDS GTN appeared and in the right place.  I started a flight, but during the flight clicked some sort of hot spot on the GTN screen and the GTN immediately switched off. I couldn't restore it, so if you know what/where I clicked that would be helpful.

In X-Plane 11, I switched off the Reality XP GTN via the PlugAdmin menu, but the TDS GTN still didn't show.  The TDS GTN ini.file appears to have the correct screen co-ordinates, so I tried renaming the Reality XP ini file to .old to prevent it loading. Still no joy.

If you could detail any other way of completely disabling the Reality XP GTN, that would be very helpful.

Thanks for the help you have given - much appreciated.

Hello Nick,

Unfortunately we do not know what has caused the black screen, other than a lack of avionics/battery power. We would suggest attempting a new flight, making sure that the alternators/battery/avionics bus are on.

For X-Plane 11, please start X-Plane, access the Plugins Menu/TDS GTNXi/General Settings, make sure that Legacy VC integration is on.

Then close X-Plane, restore the name of the RXP GTN file, remove the TDSGTN.ini file, so it would regenerate.

An idea to disable the RXP GTN is to uninstall it/remove it from the X-Plane plugins folder.
