Com Frequency changes not showing.
#1
Just a small issue I wonder if you can help?

MSFS2024 Store, Win 11 VR (Pimax), Black Sqr Bonanza, sayIntentions.ai ATC

I used to be able to change the GTN 750 comms frequency by clicking the ATC UI, but this has now stopped showing.  The comm 1 frequency changes but the GTN 750 does not show the change any more.

Thank you and appreciated.

Hello,

Please check the MSFS settings for frequency assist/auto tune and disable this.

You may want to confirm that the TDS GTNXi is set to COM1/NAV1 for the unit that you are using, as stated in the TDS GTNXI Interface, settings tab and TDS GTNXi PDF manual.

Hello and thanks your reply. I'm in MSFS2024-SU5 and I don't think "MSFS settings for frequency assist/auto tune. . .exists anymore.

I could be wrong of course. Would the following be the same; Settings - Assistances - AI ATC Radio Communications?

If so, I already have this disabled.

I confirm the TDS GTNXi COM1/NAV1 is in use.

I checked that the frequency changes using SI.ai's UI as normal in a non TDS GTNXi a/c (COWS DA40) for info.

Hello,

At TDS we read the COM frequency variable from MSFS directly, as a simulation variable. As this is the only reported issue and not a general TDS GTNXi failure, we do not understand how this could be our bug.

This is because we utilize the MSFS SDK for reading official datarefs. Can you please try again, without SayIntentions.AI with a default aircraft, such as the MSFS 2024 C172 mod for the TDS GTNXi Pro from our website:
https://tdssim.com/ProUpgrade/msfs2024mods

Do you have software to monitor MSFS AVars?

Yes, we would recommend checking/modifying the AI ATC Radio Communications as a test.

We also would recommend asking this in our Discord community server, as somebody else may have experience:
