Two instances on separate drives
#1
Hi-
I have one instance of XP12 running on one SSD drive. I have a copy of that instance installed on a separate drive that I try new things on prior to installing on the first instance. On the second instance with the same aircraft (Thranda V35) the GTN750 is black; no power. Everything is up to date and I've set power to always on. The first instance works perfectly, that is, the GTN fires up with no effort on my part. So, my question is, are you allowed to run the GTN750 on one drive only? Or is this something else?

Thanks, Mark

Hello Mark,

No, you can run two instances without an issue. At this moment the TDS GPS manager installs the TDS GTNXi plugin only on the first available X-Plane installation.
Until we will update the TDS GPS Manager, after each installation or update, you need to manually copy the plugin from the first to the second X-Plane installation:
X-Plane 12\Resources\plugins\TDSGTNXi

Works fine now, thanks!
