Introducing Rotocraft Support!

Rotorcraft Support is part of the TDS GTNXi Pro/Pro Upgrade!

Improve the immersion of the TDS GTNXi Pro when flying rotorcraft by adding these exciting new features!

  • The Rotorcraft Upgrade adds over 2700 Heliports as part of Navigraph Navdata which are fully integrated into the TDS GTNXi Pro, no user action is required!
  • For Heliport data, a Navigraph Subscription is required! This is not included with the Pro Upgrade
  • Worldwide Heliport Procedures (SIDs/STARs/IAPs) as part of Navigraph Navdata, adding to the navigation data already being offered in the TDS GTNXi Pro!
  • Example: Heliport KJRB (Downtown Manhattan/Wall St. Heliport) has two approaches and one departure which are perfectly displayed and flown using the TDS GTNXi Pro
  • Helicopter Procedures added to existing airports which contain heliports!
  • Example: KJFK airport now offers the ability to fly the COPTER RNAV 027 GPS approach
  • Heliport Frequencies as part of Navigraph Navdata!
  • Example: Heliport LFWM (Colmar Pasteur Hospital in Eastern France) has distinct airport communications frequencies which are accurately displayed in the TDS GTNXi Pro
  • Full simulation of HTAWS, featuring HTAWS altitude coloring and HTAWS aural/visual alerts
  • Ability to overlay HTAWS on the Map page for greater situation awareness
  • Configure HTAWS to your liking by controlling: Altitude Voice Callouts, HTAWS Inhibit, Reducted protection (RP) mode
  • HTAWS Specfic Warnings and Cautions coded to real-life standards
  • Example: The HTWS FLTA (Forward Looking Terrain Alert) logic issuing a Wire Warning as the conditions for an electircal powerline collision have been met. Thanks to the innovative HTAWS system and obstacle powerline database of the TDS GTNXi Pro collison events can be avoided
  • The rotorcraft obstacle database contains powerlines in North America which are tied to the HTAWS alerting system
  • Rotorcraft specific Obstacle database containing 30,000 more obstacles than a regular, fixed-wing Obstacle database
  • Example: Oil Rigs from the North Sea being displayed on the map
  • Map Latched Mode to aid in low speed rotorcraft operation until valid orientation data can be used
